Memberships

Memberships Overview

Memberships are recurring programs fans subscribe to — monthly or yearly, free or paid. Each membership has tiers (pricing and benefits), a Membership Hub where you run community and content, and a Fan Hub portal where members sign in after they join.

Creator plan required

Creator and above can create memberships. Free sees an upgrade prompt on Dashboard → Memberships.

What memberships are (and are not)

MembershipsNot memberships
Recurring access you sell with tiersSubscribers — your marketing email list for Broadcasts
Community posts, DMs, classroom, live sessions in the HubOne-time Products or full Courses sold separately
Fans join via a Membership block on your Flo pageBookings — single sessions (unless you offer them as a perk)

Subscribers vs members

Someone can be a subscriber (email list), a member (paying or free tier), both, or neither. Broadcast audience can target All subscribers or Members only — members do not have to be on your subscriber list.

On Creator, you can still add more than one Membership block in the Builder, but every block points at your single program unless you upgrade.

What fans experience

  1. See your offer on your Flo page

A Membership block shows your program name, tiers, prices, and benefit bullets — Membership block.

  2. Tap Join

Flo opens your join page at https://myflo.link/yourname/portal/membership (with your membership selected).

  3. Pick a tier

Free tier — join with email and get access. Paid tier — checkout through Flo PaymentsConnect payments.

  4. Use the Fan Hub

After joining, members sign in to your Fan Hub for posts, messages, classroom content, and perks you configured — Fan Hub overview.

The block is the doorway. Billing, tier choice, and member content live on the join page and in the hub — not inside the small card on your link-in-bio page.

Membership Studio (tiers and offer)

Edit tiers on the list card opens Membership Studio at /dashboard/memberships/[id]/studio.

Three tabs:

You can also edit pricing under Hub → Settings → Pricing & tiers (same underlying editor).

Creator: up to 3 tiers per program. Pro / Studio: unlimited.

Fan Hub (portal branding)

Dashboard → Fan Hub (sidebar Portal) styles how the member portal looks after login — logo, colors, and visibility. You need at least one membership with tiers before it is useful.

Membership-specific content still lives in each program’s Hub.
