Membership

The Membership block promotes one of your Flo memberships on your link-in-bio page. Fans tap through to your join page, pick a tier, and subscribe for free or pay through Flo. In the block library it is labeled Membership. In Layers, it may show as Membership or your membership name.

Use it for recurring access — community posts, perks, and anything you attach in your Membership Hub or Fan Hub. It is not for one-time products (use Sell a Product), multi-lesson courses (use Sell a Course), or single booking sessions (use Book a Session).

Creator plan required

Creator plan or above

Membership is locked on Free. You need Creator, Pro, or Studio to add this block and create memberships in Dashboard → Memberships.

What fans see

  1. They see your membership name, optional marketing lines, tier prices, and benefit bullets on your Flo page.
  2. They tap Join (or your custom button text on most layouts).
  3. Flo opens your join page at https://myflo.link/yourname/portal/membership.
  4. On that page they compare tiers, sign in if needed, and subscribe.
  5. Free tier — they join with email and get access.
  6. Paid tier — they pay through Flo Payments, then get access after checkout succeeds.
  7. They use your Fan Hub for posts, messages, classroom content, and other perks you configured for their tier.

The block is a preview and doorway — tier choice, billing, and member content live on the join page and in the Fan Hub, not inside the small block card.

If you have published community posts, the block may show a line like 3 exclusive posts on your live page (not in the builder preview).

Plan limits

Two limits matter: whether you can use the block at all, and how many memberships and tiers you can run.

Memberships and tiers in your account

Each block links to one membership. Tiers and prices are created in Dashboard → Memberships.

On Creator, you can still add multiple Membership blocks on the same page, but they would all point to the same membership unless you upgrade.

Pricing, benefits, and hub content are managed in Dashboard → Memberships, not in your plan’s block count. See Memberships overview and Billing & plans.

Save changes stores which membership this block uses and how it is styled on your page. It does not create a new membership — build memberships in Dashboard → Memberships first.

You must select a membership before Save changes is enabled.

Layout (variant)

Pick how the block looks on your page:

LayoutLookBest for

CompactOne slim row with “from” price and an arrowLow space between other blocks

Default layout for new blocks is Tiers (older pages may still use legacy cards, which Flo maps to Tiers).

Block presentation fields

Fields below depend on the layout you chose. If a control is missing in Edit, it does not apply to that layout.

Headline

FieldEffect
HeadlineOverrides the membership name on the block — leave empty to use the name from Dashboard → Memberships

Available on Featured, Tiers, and Card only.

FieldEffect
SubheadlineShort line under the headline (for example Join 400 members already inside)

Unlike some other blocks, the member count does not auto-fill from your real subscriber total. You must enter the number yourself when you turn the toggle on.

Member quote (testimonial)

Available on Featured and Card only.

FieldEffect
Member quoteShort testimonial text
AuthorName under the quote (shown when quote text is filled)

Show trial offer

Featured, Tiers, and Card only. When on, tiers with a free trial on their price show a trial badge.

Trial must exist on the price

The toggle only works when at least one tier price in Dashboard → Memberships includes a trial period.

After the block is saved to your live page, Analytics shows roughly the last 30 days (once conversions exist):

Until someone joins through the block, you may see No conversions recorded yet. Use Dashboard → Analytics for page-wide trends and membership metrics.

Free vs paid tiers

Tier priceFan experience
$0Tap block → join page → sign in / join → Fan Hub access
Above $0Tap block → join page → pay through Flo Payments → access after successful checkout

Tier prices and trials are set in Dashboard → Memberships, not in the block editor. The block displays whatever prices and benefits exist on the linked membership when fans view your live page.

If a fan lands on your Flo page with a referral code in the URL (for example ?ref=their-code), join links from this block keep that code when they open your join page. Members earn points when friends join; you track counts in the hub and can add milestone rewards — Referrals.
