Membership Hub Overview

The Membership Hub is your day-to-day workspace for one membership program. After fans join, you publish posts, answer messages, attach courses, schedule live sessions, and manage members — all from a single dark, desktop-friendly screen.

Creator plan required

You need Creator or above. Each program has its own hub.

How the Hub fits with Studio and Fan Hub

Flo splits membership work across three places:

Fans join on your join page and spend time in the portal (posts, classroom, billing). You operate the program from the Hub.

Open the Hub

Go to Memberships
Dashboard → Memberships in the sidebar under Monetize.
Pick your program
Click the card for the membership you want to manage.
Open hub
Click Open hub on that card.

The address looks like /dashboard/memberships/[your-program-id]. The hub opens on the Community tab by default.

From the hub you can return to all programs with ← Back to memberships in the top bar.

Area	What it does
Top bar	Shows program name and status (Active, Draft, or Archived). Settings opens the settings panel. View live opens the member portal preview in a new tab.
Left navigation	Switches between hub sections (Community, Messages, Classroom, and more).
Main area	The active tab’s tools and content.
Bottom of nav	Settings and Preview portal — same actions as the top bar.

Desktop recommended

Flo shows Community Hub works best on desktop at the top of the main area. Posting with images and video is disabled on small screens — use a wide browser window for composing.

Messages shows a purple count badge when you have unread DMs (up to 99+).

Community tab (home)

This is where most creators spend their time.

Stats across the top

Four cards summarize the program:

Card	Meaning
Total members	Active subscribers right now
New this month	Joins in the current calendar month
Active this week	Members who engaged recently
MRR	Estimated monthly recurring revenue from paid tiers

The right sidebar repeats Members, New / mo, and MRR, plus your public link (myflo.link/yourname).

Publish a post

Click Share something with your members… to open the composer.

You can set	Detail
Title and body	Rich text editor
Images, video, files	Attach from the composer toolbar
Category	Organize posts (categories are managed in Settings → General)
Who can see this	All members or one specific tier
When to publish	Publish now or schedule for later
Notify members	Optional email when the post goes live (tier-gated posts only notify members on that tier)

After you publish, the post appears in the feed. Click a post to open the full view — edit, delete, change audience, react, and read comments.

Filter the feed

Category chips below that limit the feed to one post category.

On wide screens, the right column shows:

Block	Purpose
Cover + description	Program thumbnail and short description — edit via Membership settings
Tier list	Each active tier with member count; Featured badge if set
Member directory	When enabled in settings, a link to View directory → and how many members opted in

Messages tab

Your direct message inbox for this program.

Feature	Behavior
Thread list	Conversations with members who have messaged you
Unread badge	Count on Messages in the left nav
Start a conversation	If the inbox is empty, pick an active member and open a thread

Use Messages for support, coaching check-ins, and personal follow-ups. It is not tier-gated like community posts.

Classroom tab

Connect courses and digital products you already built in Flo so members unlock them by tier.

Members see qualifying items under Included in Your Membership in the Fan Hub.

Schedule broadcasts for your members.

Click Schedule a Live (or Schedule your first live on an empty state). Set title, time, and All members vs a specific tier — same audience idea as posts.

Stream keys appear after you schedule. Open an event card to manage details.

Points come from your Gamification settings (badges, levels, milestones). If nobody has points yet, Flo shows an empty state for the selected period.

Draft vs Active (General)

Status	Meaning
Draft	Hides new signups — you can still build content in the hub
Active	Program is live on your page and join flow
Archived	Retired — cannot reactivate from this toggle

Going Active may require accepting membership terms the first time.

Preview portal / View live

View live (top bar) and Preview portal (left nav) open the member-facing portal in a new tab — the same experience fans see after joining, including your selected membership.

Use this to check posts, classroom items, and join flow without leaving the dashboard.

Suggested first-day workflow

Set up tiers
Edit tiers or Settings → Pricing & tiers — at least one tier and price — Create a tier.
Go Active
Settings → General — switch from Draft to Active when checkout should work.
Deliver perks
Classroom — attach courses/products. Community — welcome post for All members.
Optional extras
Settings → Emails — welcome email. Gamification — badges and levels. Live — schedule your first session.
Preview as a member
View live — confirm the portal matches what you promised in tier benefits.

Troubleshooting

Issue	What to try
Cannot compose posts on phone	Use a desktop browser — composer is locked on narrow screens
Calendar / About tab empty	Those nav items are placeholders — use Live or Settings → About
Member cannot see a course	Classroom — check All tiers vs tier-only scope
Post hidden from some members	Open post → audience — may be limited to one tier
Unread Messages badge stuck	Open Messages and read threads — badge updates from inbox state
Settings changes not on public page	Set program to Active and Update live on your Flo page
No members in hub yet	Publish Membership block and share your `myflo.link` URL
