Publishing
Publishing decides whether anyone can open your page at https://myflo.link/yourname. Until you publish, Flo still saves your builder work to your account, but visitors who use your link see This Flo page doesn't exist yet.
After you go live, you keep editing in the builder. Flo auto-saves those edits. The top bar also reminds you when to click Update live so you know your latest work is saved and ready for fans.

Draft vs live at a glance

Not the same as Public / Unlisted
Settings → Page & domain → Visibility (Public or Unlisted) only matters after the page is published. Unlisted still works for anyone with the link; it is not the same as unpublish. See Your Flo page.
Top bar controls
Open Dashboard → Builder. The top bar is your publish control center.

A/B Test sits beside these controls on Creator+. Running a test can show different page versions to visitors. Promoting a winner changes what everyone sees — Promote winner.
Publish for the first time
Finish your page in the builder
Edit profile header on the canvas for photo, name, bio, and socials. Add at least one block from the Block tab (Newsletter, Link, product, course, etc.) and wire up any offers it needs.
Save page appearance
Open the Page tab (fonts, templates, buttons, spacing, SEO). Click Save appearance at the bottom. Success toast: Appearance saved. Page styles do not use the same auto-save timing as block edits — see Saving vs publishing.
Click Publish
Top right, click Publish. Flo saves your latest builder state first, then marks the page published on the server.
On success:
- Toast: Your page is live!
- Pill: Live
- Button: green Live (tooltip: Click to unpublish)
Verify
Open
https://myflo.link/yournamein a private / incognito window, or use View live preview in the builder. Confirm header, blocks, and signup or checkout flows work.
Publish before paid checkout is ready
You can go live before Settings → Flo Payments is Active. Fans can browse, join your email list, and use free offers. Paid checkout needs an active earnings account — Connect payments.
Publish failed?
If the button spins then shows Something went wrong. Please try again., check your connection and try Publish again. Flo tries to save first, so block edits should still be in the builder after a refresh. If it keeps failing, contact support — rare account moderation can block publishing.
After you are live: Update live
Once the pill reads Live, every change to blocks or page settings turns the publish button into Update live (warning style with a refresh icon).

Unpublish vs keep editing
Click Live (green) only when you want the whole URL offline. Visitors will see This Flo page doesn't exist yet until you Publish again.
To change a live page without taking it down: stay Live, edit, then use Update live when you want to save right away and clear the reminder.
When fans see changes
On a live page, Flo auto-saves about 8 seconds after you stop editing (and when you switch away from the tab). Those saves update what is stored for your public page.

The Update live button is your “I’m ready” control: it saves on the spot and clears the builder’s pending-edits reminder. You do not need to click it after every tiny tweak if you are fine waiting for auto-save — but use it before you share a link or run ads right after a big change.
Unpublish
When the page is Live and the builder shows the green Live button (no Update live reminder), click Live to unpublish.

Unpublish does not delete your blocks or settings. Click Publish again when you want to go back online.
Saving vs publishing
Flo uses three related actions. Mixing them up is the most common publish confusion.

Canvas vs View live preview
The center canvas shows everything in the builder right now, including edits waiting for the next auto-save.
View live preview opens the real public URL. If you are Draft, you still get This Flo page doesn't exist yet even if the canvas looks finished.
Before you publish (checklist)

Custom domain and sharing
Your default link is always https://myflo.link/yourname.
On Pro / Studio, a custom domain works once DNS shows Verified in Settings → Page & domain. The page must stay published — an unpublished page will not load on your domain either.
Copy your link from Settings → Page & domain, Dashboard → View my page, or View live preview in the builder.
A/B tests while live
Creator plan requiredWith a running A/B test, some visitors may see a variant instead of your main canvas. Traffic split and results live under A/B testing overview.
When you promote a winner, Flo updates the live page content to that variant — Promote winner. In-builder controls: A/B tests in the builder.

Troubleshooting
