Link Button

The Link block sends visitors to any URL you choose — Instagram, YouTube, your shop, a Typeform, a calendar, or your own site. In the block library it is labeled Link.

Use it when you want outbound links, not checkout. For products, courses, or memberships sold on Flo, use Digital download, Course, or Membership instead.

Available on every plan

The Link block is on Free and all paid plans. You can add multiple Link blocks on one page, and each block can list many links inside it.

What fans see

Visitors scroll to your Link block and tap a row or button. Flo opens the URL you saved:

Opens in settingWhat happens
New tab (default)Link opens in a new browser tab
Same tabReplaces your Flo page in the same tab
DeeplinkOpens in the same tab — useful when the URL is meant to hand off to an app or deep link

Each link can show:

  • An icon (Instagram, YouTube, generic link, and more)
  • A label (button text)
  • An optional note (subtitle under the label — most visible in Button and Card styles)
  • An optional badge (small tag such as NEW)

Links respect per-link schedules (show only between certain dates). The whole block can also use Behavior scheduling and targeting — see Blocks.

  1. Open the builder

Dashboard → Builder on a desktop browser.

  2. Add Link from the library

Layers → + or Block tab (nothing selected) → Link.

  3. Select the block

The new block appears on the preview and is selected. The right panel shows Content, Display, Behavior, and Analytics.

  4. Add your URLs

In Content, set each link’s label, URL, icon, and optional note. Expand Advanced for badges, open behavior, and schedules.

  5. Pick a layout

Open Display and choose Button, Card, Grid, or Minimal.

  6. Publish

Flo auto-saves your draft. Click Publish or Update live so fans see the links — Publishing.

Right panel tabs

TabWhat you edit
ContentSection title (builder only), list of links, per-link Advanced
DisplayLayout style + per-link color and hover animation overrides
BehaviorHide/show schedule, UTM targeting, device, block background, entrance animation
AnalyticsViews, conversions, and conversion rate (last 30 days)

Unlike product or course blocks, everything for Link blocks lives in these tabs — there is no separate Edit modal.

Content tab

At the top you see a live preview of the block. Below that:

Section title

Section title is a field in the editor (default placeholder: Find me elsewhere). It helps you organize the block in the builder; it is not shown to visitors on the live page today.

For every link row:

FieldPurpose
LabelText visitors read (for example Instagram or Book a call)
URLFull link starting with https:// (or http://)
IconPick from the dropdown — see icon list below
Optional noteShort line under the label (for example @yourhandle or Latest videos)
ActionWhat it does
Remove linkDeletes that row from the block
Add linkAppends a new row (default label New link)

Write with AI on the label

After you enter a URL, a sparkle icon appears on the label field. It suggests button text based on the destination (Creator and above; uses your monthly AI allowance). Enter the URL first so Flo knows where the link goes.

Expand Advanced on any link row:

SettingWhat it does
BadgeShort tag on the link (for example NEW). Leave empty to hide.
Badge colorBackground color for the badge
Opens inNew tab · Same tab · Deeplink
ScheduleStart and End dates — link is hidden outside that window

Per-link Schedule uses Start and End datetime fields. Leave both empty to always show the link (when the block itself is visible).

Click limit field

The editor may show a Click limit field under Advanced. Flo does not hide links by click count on the live page yet — use Schedule or block Behavior instead.

Pick how the whole block looks. Toggle at the top of Display:

The preview updates immediately when you switch styles.

Below the style toggle, Per-link overrides let you tune individual links without changing the whole page:

Many creators use profile header for 3–5 main socials and a Link block for everything else (shop, podcast, press kit).

See Profile header.
