Portal Branding

Portal branding is how fans see your name and colors after they sign in — not Flo’s default dashboard look. You control it in Fan Hub under Identity, Colors, and Welcome content. Changes apply to the fan portal (https://myflo.link/{your-username}/portal), the branded sign-in page, and parts of the membership experience inside the portal.

This page goes deep on those three sections. For the full Fan Hub layout, preview modes, and who sees what, start with Fan Hub overview. Section toggles (Courses, Products, Bookings) live in Portal visibility.

Open Fan Hub

  1. Go to Fan Hub

    Dashboard sidebar → PortalFan Hub.

  2. Edit branding

Update Identity, Colors, and Welcome content on the left. The Live preview on the right updates as you type — even before you save.

  3. Save

Click Save changes. You should see toast Portal settings saved and the header hint Saved. While you have unsaved edits, Flo shows Unsaved changes.

  4. Check on a real screen (optional)

Click Preview portal to open the full portal in a new tab (requires a public username in Settings → Profile). See Portal preview.

If you leave Fan Hub with unsaved work, your browser may warn you before closing the tab.

Fan Hub is not Membership Hub

Membership Hub (Dashboard → Memberships → Open hub) is where you publish posts, classroom, and DMs. Fan Hub only styles the shell fans see around those features — name, logo, colors, welcome line, and which library sections appear in the sidebar.

Identity

The Identity card sets how your portal introduces itself in the header and on sign-in.

Portal name

DetailValue
FieldPortal name
Max length100 characters

If emptyFlo uses your public username everywhere the portal name appears

Where fans see it

PlaceWhat they see
Portal sidebar headerName text when you have no logo
Mobile portal headerSame name in the top bar
Sign-in pageLarge title on the branded panel; browser tab title is Sign in — plus your portal name
Sign-in formAccess your [portal name] account under the logo
Membership areaPage titles and your name on the membership feed (when members open My Membership)
Footer linkVisit [portal name] — opens your public Flo page

Purchase receipt emails use the product name, not Portal name. Membership welcome emails use your program name and optional logo from Membership Hub → Settings → Emails, not Fan Hub (see Welcome email).

Max size5 MB
Crop shapeWide wordmark (about 3:1) — matches the header strip
Display heightAbout 28px tall in the portal sidebar; width scales to fit

Upload flow

  1. Click the upload area or drag an image onto it.
  2. Adjust the crop in the crop window, then confirm.
  3. Flo uploads the image and shows a preview. Use remove to clear the logo and fall back to text.

Wide logos work best

Tall or square logos get squeezed in a short header band. Export a horizontal wordmark with clear padding so it stays readable at ~28px height.

On My Membership, your logo can also appear as your avatar on the membership feed when you set one here.

Colors

The Colors card has four pickers. Together they paint the fan portal shell, sign-in page, and library cards. Flo saves each color as a hex value (for example #7c2df0).

Default palette

Until you change them, new portals use Flo’s dark theme defaults:

FieldDefaultRole
Brand color#7c2df0Primary accent
Accent color#a855f7Secondary accent
Background color#0f0e17Main page background
Text color#e2e8f0Headlines and body on that background

Where each color appears

FieldFans see it on…
Brand colorActive sidebar item (highlight + left border), hover states, section card icons and hover borders, sign-in Send magic link button and email field focus ring, empty fan avatar circle in the sidebar
Accent colorMy Membership experience — post reactions, directory links, and related highlights (not the main portal sidebar nav)
Background colorPortal Home and library pages, sign-in form panel background (when that panel uses your background)
Text colorHeadlines and body on the background you chose — including the Welcome message headline on Home

Light backgrounds and dark sidebar

If Background color is light, Flo keeps the sidebar and mobile menu on a dark bar (#0f0e17) so navigation stays readable. The main content area still uses your light background and Text color.

This is intentional: you can run a bright Home page without losing contrast in the nav.

Check contrast

Pair a dark Text color with a dark Background color, or a light text with a light background. Very similar colors make section cards and subtitles hard to read.

Welcome content

The Welcome content card controls the greeting on portal Home and one optional label Flo stores for later use.

Welcome message

DetailValue
FieldWelcome message
Max length500 characters
PlaceholderWelcome back! Here's everything you have access to.
If emptyHome headline is Welcome back plus the fan’s first name when Flo has it (for example Welcome back, Alex)

Below the headline, Home always shows the subtitle Here's everything in your library. — that line is not editable in Fan Hub.

The same Welcome message is passed into the My Membership area as context for members (alongside program content from the Membership Hub).

CTA button label

DetailValue
FieldCTA button label
Max length50 characters

PlaceholderBrowse all courses

Flo saves this label with your portal settings. Portal Home today uses section cards (My Courses, My Products, and so on) rather than one big button under the welcome line, so fans may not see this label on Home yet. You can still set it so it is ready when Flo surfaces a primary action there.

Where portal branding applies (and where it does not)

Uses Fan Hub brandingUses something else
Fan portal shell and HomeBuilder → Page settings — your public Flo page look
https://myflo.link/{username}/login sign-inSettings → Branding — creator dashboard accent (Creator plan)
My Membership colors and feed name/logoMembership welcome email logo and copy — Hub Settings → Emails
Portal library section cardsCheckout modal branding — separate settings (when available)
Subscriptions and Privacy & data pages inside the portalCourse welcome message on the enrolled course page — course editor, not Fan Hub

Your public page at https://myflo.link/{your-username} and the fan portal share a username but do not automatically sync colors. Matching them is a manual design choice.

Fans always see saved branding after a normal login. Tell testers to refresh if you just saved.

Suggested branding workflow

  1. Name the portal

Set Portal name to your studio, brand, or program name — not only your personal name unless that is the brand.

  2. Add a logo

Upload a wide wordmark. Remove it temporarily if you want to check how the text fallback looks.

  3. Align colors

Match Brand color to your public page or membership art. Set Background and Text for readable contrast.

  4. Write one welcome line

Short and specific — for example New lessons drop every Tuesday. Start in My Courses.

  5. Save and preview

Save changesPreview portal on desktop and on your phone width.

  6. Test sign-in

Open https://myflo.link/{your-username}/login in a private window and confirm logo, colors, and copy feel right before sharing the link.
