Getting Started

Dashboard Overview

After you sign up and finish onboarding, Flo opens the Dashboard at /dashboard. This is your control center: revenue and traffic at a glance, quick links into the Builder, and the sidebar for everything you sell and grow.

This guide maps the layout, every sidebar destination, and each tile on Overview so you know what is real data versus a shortcut.

Overview is not a setup wizard

The home screen shows live metrics and shortcuts. It does not track whether you finished publish or Flo Payments. Use the checklist at the end of this page for a sensible first-week path.

Dashboard layout

On desktop, the creator app has three regions:

RegionWhat it is
Left sidebarNavigation, plan badge, View my page, Sign out, collapse toggle
Top barBreadcrumb for the current section, Search… (command palette), profile menu, notifications
Main areaPage content — Overview on /dashboard, or the screen for Builder, Products, etc.

On smaller screens the sidebar collapses; the top bar search and profile menu stay available on supported breakpoints.

Command palette (quick jump)

Click Search… in the top bar or press ⌘K (Mac) / Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux). The palette lists:

  • Overview, Builder, and every enabled sidebar item
  • Settings sections (Profile, Page & domain, Flo Payments, Billing, and more)
  • Help

Type to filter, then press Enter to open a destination. Disabled items (for example Automations) do not appear because they are not available yet.

ControlWhat it does
View my pageOpens your public Flo page (https://myflo.link/yourname) in a new tab — same URL as Your Flo page
Sign outEnds your creator session
CollapseShrinks the sidebar to icons (preference is remembered in the browser)

Your plan badge (Free, Creator, Pro, Studio) sits at the top of the sidebar. Upgrade paths live under Settings → Billing.

Paths below match the app (dashboard-nav-config.ts). Items marked Soon are visible but not clickable.

Overview page (/dashboard)

Overview is the default landing screen after login. Sections stack top to bottom; on large screens some tiles sit in a two-column bento grid.

AI writing nudge (optional)

If you have not set a niche on your profile, a banner may appear:

Flo can write your bio, product descriptions, email subjects, and more — powered by AI.

Try it on your bio → opens Settings → Profile. Dismiss stores a preference in your browser so it does not return on that device.

Greeting and 30-day KPIs

The greeting card shows your local date and time (from Settings → Profile → Timezone), a time-of-day headline (Good morning, Good afternoon, etc.), and a link to https://myflo.link/yourname when your handle is set.

Four KPI tiles summarize the last 30 days versus the previous 30 days (percent change under each value):

KPIMeaning
RevenuePaid order revenue (USD)
New subsNew email subscribers (confirmed list growth)
Page viewsViews on your published Flo page
New fansNew fan profiles linked to your creator account (portal/login identities — not the same as email subscribers)

For full charts and breakdowns, open Analytics or Wallet.

Earnings hero

The large Earnings card is your revenue command center:

ControlBehavior
Period tabs7d, 30d, 90d, YTD, All — switches totals and chart
Compare to previous periodOverlays the prior window on the chart (equal length)
Headline totalRevenue for the selected period (animated count-up when Flo Payments is active)
Sub-statsOrders, new subscribers, conversion (orders ÷ page views in that window)
Payout hintSee Wallet for payout schedule when payments are active; otherwise Set up Flo Payments to get paid

Until Flo Payments is Active, the dollar total shows even if you have free conversions.

Conversion boosts (Creator+)

If your plan includes order bumps and upsells and you have attach/accept data in the last 30 days, an extra panel may show:

  • Extra revenue from bumps & upsells (dollar total)
  • Bump attach rate and Upsell accept rate

Configure bumps/upsells in the Digital download block checkout settings. See Products overview when that guide is available.

Today’s pulse

Today’s pulse is a live-style feed of recent purchases (up to the five latest charges Flo can load from your payments account).

StateWhat you see
Flo Payments not readySet up Flo Payments to see live sales in your pulse.
Ready, no sales yetNo sales yet — your next one will show up here.
Ready, with salesObfuscated buyer email, product name, amount, time ago

See all activity → opens Wallet for the full ledger.

The green LIVE badge means the feed is connected to payments — not that a sale happened in the last minute.

Top products · 30d

Ranked list of products by purchase revenue in the last 30 days:

  • Rank, name, delivery type subtitle (for example Digital product, Course)
  • Mini 7-day sparkline per row
  • Rank change vs the prior 30-day window (New, ▲ N rank, ▼ N rank)

Empty state: No product sales in the last 30 days yet…

Send to subscribers

Quick broadcast draft panel. The heading shows Send to plus your current subscriber count (for example Send to 42 subscribers).

  • Text area (max 800 characters) and idea chips to fill the draft
  • Schedule and ImageBroadcasts → New (full composer)
  • Send now — does not send email from Overview. It clears the box and shows a toast: Broadcast queued · opens Broadcasts to finish scheduling. Always finish sending under Dashboard → Broadcasts.

That count is your active subscribed email audience.

Next up

Next up is a local checklist (three sample tasks with due pills: today, tomorrow, this week). Checking items only updates this browser session — it is not synced to Flo’s servers and not tied to real inbox or analytics tasks.

Use it as a personal pin list, or ignore it and track work in your own tool.

Where they came from

Donut chart of page view traffic sources for the last 30 days, bucketed from UTM data:

Direct, Instagram, TikTok, X, Google, Other

Hover a segment or legend row for percentage detail. Center label shows total views (or the hovered slice).
Add utm_source (and related params) to links you share for cleaner attribution — see Analytics overview for depth.

Small print at the bottom:

  • Flo · plus your timezone offset (from Settings → Profile)
  • All systems normal — generic status indicator, not a per-account health check

Flo does not mark these complete on Overview — work through them in order when you are new:

  1. Publish your Flo page

Dashboard → BuilderPublish. Confirm myflo.link/yourname in a private window.
    Publish your first page

  2. Connect Flo Payments (before paid offers)

Settings → Flo PaymentsActive earnings account.
    Connect payments

  3. Create one offer

Match your goal: Products, Courses, Bookings, or Memberships — then wire a block in the builder.

  4. Share with UTMs

Post your link with ?utm_source=instagram (or similar) so Where they came from reflects real campaigns.

  5. Check Overview weekly

Scan KPIs, Top products, and Wallet; send broadcasts from Broadcasts when you have subscribers.
