Getting Started

You can join Flo in a few minutes. Free does not require a credit card. Most new creators use the Get started flow on myflo.link — you design your page first, then create your account on the last step.

Already have an account?

Go to myflo.link/login and sign in with Google or email. You do not need to run through Get started again.

The sections below focus on Get started, since that is what the marketing site links to. The Log in path is summarized at the end.

Get started — step by step

Open myflo.link and click Get started (or Get started free in the footer). You enter the Build your Flo page wizard — about two minutes with a live preview on the right (on desktop) or expandable preview on mobile.

  1. Your name and photo

Step 1 of 6 — Add your display name (at least 2 characters). Optionally upload a profile photo and cover image or short cover video. These feed your Profile Header on the starter page. Click Continue.

  2. Claim your URL

Step 2Claim your URL sets your public handle. Type the part after myflo.link/ (for example alex). Flo checks availability as you type.

    • 3–30 characters — letters, numbers, and underscores only
    • Stored lowercase (typing Alex becomes alex)
    • Must be unique and not a reserved word
    • Your handle is shown read-only under Settings → Page & domain after signup — choose something you are happy sharing long-term

Wait for ✓ Available, then Continue.

  3. Bio and location

Step 3 — Add an optional bio (up to 300 characters), location, and an optional status (for example open for work or taking bookings). Skip fields you do not need yet. Continue.

  4. Social links

Step 4 — Add optional links (Instagram, YouTube, website, and similar). They appear on your Profile Header when you publish. Continue.

  5. What you'll use Flo for

Step 5 — Select one or more goals. Flo uses these to seed starter blocks on your page:

OptionWhat Flo adds to your starter page
Sell productsProduct-style blocks to connect offers later
    Book sessionsBooking block placeholder
    Grow my listEmail capture block
    Build communityMembership-oriented starter content

You can change blocks anytime in Dashboard → Builder. Continue.

  6. Create your account

Step 6 — One last step — Create your Flo login. Your URL preview shows myflo.link/yourname with a green dot.

    • Continue with Google — fastest; uses your Google account
    • Sign up with email — email, password (at least 8 characters), confirm password, then Launch my Flo →

Flo saves your progress from steps 1–5, creates your user and page, and sends you to the Dashboard. A welcome email may arrive in your inbox.

Draft saved in this browser

If you leave mid-flow, answers from steps 1–5 are stored in your browser draft on Get started. Return to /get-started on the same device to pick up where you left off before step 6.

Username rules

Usernames must match ^[a-zA-Z0-9_]{3,30}$ and cannot collide with Flo routes or reserved names, including:

admin, api, app, billing, blog, dashboard, flo, getflo, help, login, mail, onboarding, privacy, settings, signup, support, terms, www, and similar infrastructure slugs.

If a name is taken, try a niche suffix (alexstudio, alex_flo). Flo rate-limits rapid availability checks — wait a moment if you see Too many attempts.

Sign up via Log in instead

myflo.link/login is labeled Welcome to Flo — Sign in or create your account. Use it when you already have an account, or when you prefer not to use Get started.

  1. Open Log in

Click Log in on the marketing site, or go directly to /login.

  2. Continue with Google or email

Continue with Google creates or signs into your account in one step, then routes you to Onboarding (new) or Dashboard (returning).

For email, enter your address and continue. Flo opens Enter your password for that email. From there you can:

    • Sign in — if you already use a password on this email
    • Email me a magic link instead — passwordless sign-in
    • Create an account with password — switches to Create your password (minimum 8 characters, confirm, then Create account)
    • Send me a password setup link instead — set a password via email link
  3. Confirm email (if prompted)

New email signups may need to confirm via link or one-time code before the session is active.

  4. Complete onboarding

New accounts without a finished profile go to Onboarding (/onboarding) — the same six content steps as Get started (name, username, bio, socials, use cases). Because you are already signed in, the last step is Launch into the builder (not Sign up with email).

Flo creates your starter page when you launch. You land in the Dashboard when onboarding completes.

If you already completed Get started and launched, Log in takes you straight to the Dashboard.

Prefer page-first signup?

Get started is still the recommended path for brand-new creators — you see your page preview before creating login credentials.
