Declare winner flow
Run or pause the test
The test must be running or paused (not Draft).
Open Declare winner
In Split test → Lifecycle, click Declare winner.
Review statistics
Flo evaluates sample size and Bayesian confidence for your primary metric (conversion rate or RPV). If data is still thin, you will see a warning — you can extend the test or declare anyway.
Choose the variant
Pick the variant you want as the new live page. It must include a profile header block and at least one visible content block.
Confirm
Flo runs the promote action, closes the test in the builder, and revalidates your public page.
After promotion, click Update live if the builder still shows unpublished tweaks.
Requirements
Flo blocks promotion when:
- The test is still Draft or already completed — only Live or Paused tests can declare a winner
- The chosen variant has no visible blocks (hidden-only variants cannot go live)
- The chosen variant is missing a profile header block
- Your page is flagged or suspended for content review
- Sample size is below the recommended minimum — unless you explicitly declare anyway
If promotion fails, your live page stays as it was before you clicked confirm.
End without a winner
Click End test without winner to mark the test completed without changing the live page. Visitors return to your pre-test page. Confirm the dialog: End this test without picking a winner? Traffic will return to normal.
Moderation block
If your page is flagged or suspended for content review, promotion is blocked until the issue is resolved. Contact support if you believe that is an error.
Delete a test
Only Draft or completed tests can be deleted from test management. Running tests must be ended or promoted first.
